Pharmaceuticals Division was established with production of the vitamin D-Vital, in Dr. Nejat F. Eczacıbaşı's own laboratories. The first modern pharmaceutical plant in Turkey was established in 1952 by Eczacıbaşı. Today, Eczacıbaşı Pharmaceuticals Division produces many pharmaceuticals, veterinary products and personal care products in adition to imported pharmaceuticals through international licence agreements. The Division consists of seven companies, including the partnerships with worldwide leaders.
